Η ΕΝΩΣΗ ΚΥΠΡΙΩΝ ΠΡΟΣΦΥΓΩΝ ΕΛΛΑΔΑΣ – ΚΥΠΡΟΣ ΄74 (E.K.Π.Ε.)
H Ένωση Κυπρίων Προσφύγων Ελλάδας – Κύπρος ’74 ιδρύθηκε το 1988 και έλαβε νομική μορφή με την υπ’ αριθμό 16287/1988 απόφαση του Πρωτοδικείου Αθηνών. Το 1989 σωματείο αποτέλεσε ιδρυτικό μέλος της Ομοσπονδίας Κυπριακών Οργανώσεων Ελλάδας (Ο.Κ.Ο.Ε.).
Η έλευση στην Ελλάδα χιλιάδων εκτοπισθέντων, μετά το 1974, δημιούργησε την ανάγκη της οργάνωσης του σωματείου των Κυπρίων Προσφύγων στην Ελλάδα.
Στόχοι του σωματείου: η ανάπτυξη της επικοινωνίας και αλληλεγγύης μεταξύ των Κυπρίων Προσφύγων, η ανάπτυξη της Πολιτιστικής, Πνευματικής, Κοινωνικής και Καλλιτεχνικής κίνησης της Κύπρου, η σύσφιξη των αδελφικών μεταξύ των απανταχού ευρισκομένων Κυπρίων Προσφύγων, η εξύψωση και καλυτέρευση του μορφωτικού και κοινωνικού επιπέδου των μελών του καθώς και η δημιουργία πνεύματος συνεργασίας μεταξύ τους, η παροχή κάθε δυνατής υποστήριξης στα μέλη του, η διαφώτιση της κοινής γνώμης πάνω στα προβλήματα των μελών του Συλλόγου ως και του τόπου καταγωγής τους, η μελέτη και προαγωγή των θεμάτων και προβλημάτων που απασχολούν τους Κύπριους Πρόσφυγες της Ελλάδας.
Φυσικά πρώτιστο θέμα είναι η συμπαράσταση και συμμετοχή στον αγώνα του Κυπριακού Λαού για φυσική επιβίωση, για την Επιστροφή (στα κατεχόμενα σήμερα εδάφη), για μια λύση Δίκαιη, Βιώσιμη, Λειτουργική, για την Επανένωση σε μια Κύπρο όλων των νόμιμων κατοίκων της, χωρίς ξένα στρατεύματα, εγγυητικά και επεμβατικά δικαιώματα. Θέλουμε να συμμετέχουμε στη διαδικασία ως μέρος της λύσης και όχι ως παρακολούθημα ή επακόλουθο της λύσης.
THE ASSOCIATION OF CYPRIOT REFUGEES IN GREECE – CYPRUS ‘74
The Association of Cypriot Refugees of Greece – Cyprus ’74 was founded in 1988 and received a legal form under the decision No. 16287/1988 of the Athens Court of First Instance. In 1989 the association became a founding member of the Federation of Cypriot Organisations in Greece (O.K.O.E.)
The arrival in Greece of thousands of displaced persons, after the 1974 (Turkish invasion and occupation of 36% of Cyprus’ territory), created the need to organize the Association of Cypriot Refugees in Greece.
Aims of the association are: the development of communication and solidarity among Cypriot refugees, the development of the cultural, intellectual, social heritage of Cyprus, the tightening of the brotherly relations among the Cypriot refugees, the enhancement and improvement of the educational and social level of its members, as well as the creation of a spirit of cooperation between them, the provision of every possible support to its members, the public awareness on the problems of the members of the Association as well as of the place from their origin, the study and promotion of the issues and problems that concern the Cypriot Refugees in Greece.
Of course, the main issue is to support and participate in the struggle of the Cypriot People for survival, for the Return (to the occupied now areas), for a Successful, Sustainable, Functional solution for the Reunification of Cyprus for of all its legitimate citizens, without foreign troops, guarantees and intervention rights. We want to participate in the process as part of the solution and not as its follow-up.
